week in week out

                                                         On a Monday 

I tried

To begin my life anew

Till on Tuesday

A feeling of uneasiness, doubtfulness  grew

Come Wednesday

And a sling of self-accusations flew

Thursday brought with itself

A slightly depressive hue

So that Friday

From me

Little excitement drew

And the weekend

Brought with it

It’s own heavy due

Till on Monday

I decided

To live my life a new- 

fly high and catch you light, hug you tight
